A driver of CAF Support, on and off the course

Nearly 10 years ago, Graham Construction and Engineering’s Toronto office hosted its first charity golf tournament in support of the Canadian Armed Forces community. They raised $40,000 in their first year, unaware of the incredible impact that first swing would have over time.
Since 2011, continuing to invite key partners from the Greater Toronto Area, including architects, engineers, business and community leaders, and CAF members, to enjoy a day on the green, the company has raised over $500,000 in support of the women and men of the Canadian Armed Forces and their families. This amazing contribution has changed the lives of the brave Canadians who work hard every day to ensure our safety, freedom, and security now and for future generations.
“What started out as a simple donation has turned into a long-lasting relationship,” says Andrew Hill, District Manager, Toronto Buildings. “Our partnership with Support Our Troops has given us important insight into the needs of the Canadian Armed Forces community. We’re committed now, more than ever, to providing the support this organization needs to continue offering crucial services to Canadian soldiers.”

“Graham’s commitment to serving those who serve has safeguarded programs focused on promoting family resiliency, through special needs support, post-secondary scholarship, summer camps for military children, and emergency financial assistance, says Sean N. Cantelon, CEO, Canadian Forces Morale & Welfare Services. “Their ongoing support is definitely contributing to building a stronger community.”
