Gratitude in Action: ONroute Raises over $169,000 to support military families in Ontario Another successful campaign to change the lives of military families across Ontario! This March, Support Our Troops was thrilled to join our partners at ONroute to celebrate 5 years of their incredible giving campaign. For 5 years, along the 400 and 401 highways in Ontario, ONroute has run a two month long campaign asking valued customers to round up at the cash with a $1, $5, or $10 transaction. In 2020, the first year of the campaign, ONroute raised over $48,000 in just one month. With the success of its inaugural campaign, the company built on the momentum and continues to exceed their donation goals. This year, ONroute presented Support Our Troops with a cheque for over $169,000, bringing their 5 year donation amount to over $500,000. The campaign helps to fund programs dedicated to military members and their families in the province of Ontario, including the Holiday Hamper Program, Emergency Financial Assistance and Special Needs Grants. Support Our Troops celebrated the campaign at the Inissfil south location, who raised over $25,000 over the course of the campaign. The unwavering generosity of ONroute staff and customers is truly inspiring. This level of support has a direct and positive impact on military members, Veterans, and their families.
